Stingrays are cousins of the shark family which live in both freshwater and marine waters around the world. They usually feed on small fish, molluscs and crustaceans. They cannot see their prey because their eyes are located on top of their bodies. Stingrays' mouths are located on the undersides, while their stings are near the base of their tail.
